The Martians are invading Dearborn on April 22, 2017. As part of their duty to leave planet Earth as they found it they are looking for 4 Earthlings to help out. This team will be the official sweep team that is in change of transporting moon rocks, space dust and fallen GU packets back to their proper home. Along they way you will have the opportunity to mingle with some of the back of the pack hardest working participants in the race! For your efforts you will receive a free entry into the Martian Marathon on April 22, 2017 (to walk the course), a race shirt, a 26.2 finisher's medal and a coveted Obey Me volunteer shirt!

Priority will be given to a group of 4. If not part of a group, please apply as an individual and we will fill spots as needed.

Applications will be taken through March 12, 2017. Chosen Earthlings will be notified the week of March 13.

Please note....you must be able to walk the entire course rain, snow, wind or sun, in an average pace of 15 minutes per mile. You must also take an oath to only listen to the Canadian Chick's instructions on race day, not the other 4 million people who will try and tell you what to do because they think their plan is so much better.
