ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation

RF Events is excited to parter with our official charity of the Ann Arbor Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day, the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation! The mission of the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation is to fund research and raise awareness for Pediatric Brain Tumors with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). A portion of each entry fee to the Turkey Trot will go to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. If you are interested in making an additional donation you may do so below!


A portion of all race proceeds will also be going to the Chadtough Defeat DIPG Foundation, thank you for your support!

BACK FOR 2024! HOLIDAY TRIO SERIES!

Run the Run Scream Run 5K or 10K, the Ann Arbor Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K, and the Holiday Hustle 5K or 13.1 to complete the Holiday Trio Series! Finishers of the Run Scream Run 5K or 10K, Turkey Trot 5K and Holiday Hustle 5K or 13.1 will receive a custom Holiday Trio Series tumbler on December 7! Must be registered for all 3 events by November 23, 2024 to be included in the trio!

Release of Liability

I know the Ann Arbor Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K, and Kid’s K is a potentially hazardous activity. The dangers inherent to racing include but are not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including low temperatures and ice, lightning, and loose trails, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry form, I waive myself and all my heirs and all their claims for damages against the City of Ann Arbor, Running Fit, RF Events, RF Timing, the sponsors, representatives, volunteers, and race officials of the Ann Arbor Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot for injuries received during and as a result of this event. If I should suffer injury or illness, I authorize officials at the event to use their discretion to have me treated and transported to a medical facility and I take full responsibility for this action. I certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently prepared myself for the event. I authorize the Running Fit and RF Events to use their discretion to have me treated and transported to a medical facility and I take full responsibility for this action. I also grant the use of my voice and any and all recorded and or filmed/video/ photographed footage of me, and further waive all rights to any compensation, as a result of my name or likeness being used in any way. We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential. I understand that RF Events will not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties. I understand that E-mail addresses are shared with the photography company for the sole purpose of sending me my race day photo.

Refund and Transfer Policy

Sorry, no refunds, deferrals and or entry fee transfer to another RF Events' event.

• Change distance up to 30 days from the race, $10 change fee plus the current difference in the event entry fee, no refund for shorter event fee. Less than 30 days out until one week out from event, $15 change fee plus the difference as explained above. Race day transfer fee $20 plus any fee difference.

Once a race is SOLD OUT, transfers to another distance will only be allowed on race day, when possible.

• Entry transfer to another person until 30 days from the race, transfer fee $15 plus the difference in price if the person you are transferring to (transferee) is choosing a higher priced event. Less than 30 days out until one week out from event, transfer entry fee $20 plus the difference as described above. No race day transfers to someone else.

No transfers to another person for sold out events.

• Participants unable to participate may pick up their runner packet / shirt at the registration area. No race packet / shirt pick up once Registration and Packet Pickup closes.

If The Event is cancelled because of weather, natural disaster, global pandemic, governmental or court order or any other reason, refunds will not be given. Participants will be given the option to participate virtually or defer to the following year's event. The Event will consider on a case-by-case basis a request for refund by active military who are suddenly deployed and cannot participate in The Event, with official documentation supporting such deployment.

I UNDERSTAND that all entries are final, with no refunds, and that the Event organizers reserve the right in the event of an emergency or local or national disaster to cancel the race or to change the day and/or time of any Event and that there is no refund of entry fees

All RF Events individual race registrations earn you points towards our "Run More, Earn More Rewards" program! All you have to do to start earning reward points is register for any of our races. No rewards program login required! We do need you to register with the same billing e-mail address for all of your events with us... that's it! We take care of the rest.
