Oberun Support!

Oberun is also excited to announce its partnership with the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative (HWPI). HWPI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is responsible for the private fundraising, community engagement, and ongoing support of the Border to Border (B2B) Trail.  They are working in partnership with the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission to complete the B2B Trail and realize a vision of healthy, active, and connected communities.

The B2B Trail is a 35-mile, 10 foot wide, ADA accessible, paved pathway. It consists of eight trail corridors that connect you to cities, parks, and destinations throughout Washtenaw County, Michigan. Your donation will support the accelerated construction plan with the goal of completing this trail system within the next five years expanding recreational opportunities for everyone in the region!

RF Events is excited to be supporting the Angelman Foundation once again in 2024! Angelman Syndrome (AS) is a rare neuro-genetic disorder that occurs in one in 15,000 live births. Angelman syndrome is often misdiagnosed as cerebral palsy or autism due to lack of awareness. Join us in supporting our good friend Rose Timbers from Wiard's Orchard (Rose plays a huge role in making the Oberun possible!) in her efforts to raise money for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation!

All RF Events individual race registrations earn you points towards our Run More, Earn More Rewards program! Just register for any of our races to start earning Rewards points. No login credentials required! We do need you to register with the same billing e-mail address for all of your events with us... that's it! We take care of the rest and let you know when you have earned a coupon code.

Terms & Agreements

I know The Oberun is a potentially hazardous activity. The dangers inherent to racing include but are not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/ or humidity, lightning, and loose trails, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf waive and release all volunteers and sponsors, The State of Michigan, Wiard’s Orchard, RF Events, Running Fit Inc., Bell's Brewery, Friends of The Border To Border Trail, Washtenaw County, Washtenaw County Parks and their employees from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the person named in this waiver. I also grant the use of my voice and any and all recorded and or filmed/video/ photographed footage of me, and further waive all rights to any compensation, as a result of my name or likeness being used in any way. I understand that RF Events will not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties. I understand that E-mail addresses are shared with the photography company for the sole purpose of sending me my race day photo.
Sorry, no refunds, deferrals and or entry fee transfer to another RF Events' event.

• Change distance up to 30 days from the race, $10 change fee plus the current difference in the event entry fee, no refund for shorter event fee. Less than 30 days out until one week out from event, $15 change fee plus the difference as explained above. Race day transfer fee $20 plus any fee difference.

Once a race is SOLD OUT, transfers to another distance will only be allowed on race day, when possible.

• Entry transfer to another person until 30 days from the race, transfer fee $15 plus the difference in price if the person you are transferring to (transferee) is choosing a higher priced event. Less than 30 days out until one week out from event, transfer entry fee $20 plus the difference as described above. No race day transfers to someone else.

No transfers to another person for sold out events.

• Participants unable to participate may pick up their runner packet / shirt at the registration area. No race packet / shirt pick up once Registration and Packet Pickup closes.
