Event Timing Staff Position
RF Timing is looking for a part time employee to join our timing team! RF Timing is an Ann Arbor, MI based technology driven company determined to be on the cutting edge of event timing and reporting capabilities. From 5K fun runs to mega marathons, triathlons, relays or any event that requires finish times, we've got you covered!
Have a flexible schedule, are fairly tech savvy and love to learn? This might just be the job for you! Some early weekend mornings, but you'll have a front row seat to the start and finish line at some of the most exciting races in the area! Some days are short and sweet, some are longer and a little more lonely... a great time to relax in nature and watch some runners!
Characteristic duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with timing director to make race day plans
- Build and understand race scoring databases
- Prepare and maintain timing equipment for events
- Perform race day timing functions to provide fast and accurate results
- Perform post-race management of timing inquiries and errors
Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at any given time
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
- Ability to travel and work nights, weekends and early mornings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Schedule: Flexible but requires weekends and early mornings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15/HR plus race day bonus pay
Location: Ann Arbor, MI 48103 (Required)
Hours per Week: 4-15
Additional Compensation: Bonuses, Store Discounts & Race Discounts
Work Location: Primarily Ann Arbor, multiple off site events
