Thank you for signing up to volunteer for the Inaugural Oberun 5K in Ypsilanti!
Volunteers must be 18 or older, unless prior approval has been given by the Race Director.
Thursday Registration and Packet Pick Up: Work Thursday registration and hand out packets at Running Fit Ann Arbor - Jackson Road location.
Thursday Set Up (CANCELLED): Help get the structural stuff set up at Wiard's Orchard!
Friday Set Up/ Floater: Help get everything race ready, and then you'll be re-assigned! Everybody loves a mystery. Until it's time to tear it all down!
Friday Registration/Finish Line/Float: Work Friday registration, hand out shirts and packets & then get reassigned to the finish line & clean up crew!
Friday Finish Line & Clean Up Crew: Hand out awards, water and maintain order around the finish line area. And then pack up the whole thing and ship it out!
Friday Food/Host/Clean Up Crew: Help out with food truck lines and the post-race party. Then, after all the people go home, help load the trucks!
Friday Course Volunteer: We will assign you a spot along the course to cheer the runners on and to keep them moving in the right, or left, direction! Yuk. Yuk. Yuk. Costume not required, but why wouldn't you???
Friday Zero Waste Team: Save the world one recyclable item at a time! Help us meet our goal to reduce, reuse and recycle!
Friday Aid Station: Set up water, hand out water, clean up and bring supplies back to the truck.
Friday Park & Pour: Enjoy a day in the fields directing cars to park, then check out and join us off duty in the beer garden! Get your work done early so you can stay and play!
We'd love for you to work more than one shift, BUT please do not double book yourself! For example, you can't work the course AND aid station because the times overlap! Also, we are super excited you are willing to help out, but please do not select a job if you are not able to cover the entire shift. TEAM IN TRAINING VOLUNTEERS, your shift is listed at the end.
