Job Descriptions

Volunteers must be 18 or older unless prior permission has been given by the race director.

Thursday & Friday jobs are indoors at Dearborn Ford Performing Arts Center

• Thursday Group Package Pandemonium: Package up group's t-shirts, bibs, pins, buttons, etc. for a quick easy pick up process for group leaders that afternoon.
• Friday Kids' Registration: Work packet pick up handing out shirts and prizes to the kids!

Saturday jobs are outdoors at Ford Field Park in Dearborn

• Saturday Set Up: Help get the starting area and kids meeting areas set up.
• Saturday Zone Captains: Help direct school groups to their meeting location and help kids find their group at the start/finish.
• Martian Marshall: Help the kids stay on the right path and cheer them on along the way!
• Start Line Wavers: Well, it's a little more complicated than just waving...you will get great instructions on how to line the kids up and send them on their way!
• Finish Line Frenzy: Celebrate with the kids who just finished their marathon! Volunteers will handout goody bags, help kids make it back to their meeting area and hand out medals!
